Central defender Danny Seaborne has completed his expected move from Championship side Yeovil Town to Coventry City.
Seaborne had originally joined The Sky Blues on loan from throughout December, going on to make seven appearances for Steven Pressley’s side.
Seaborne was however hit with a three-game suspension by The FA for an incident with City’s youngest ever player, Jonson Clarke-Harris in the home draw with Oldham Athletic.
“I’m extremely pleased that we’ve managed to get Dan over the line because he made quite a impression on us during his short loan spell and he definitely brings strength and physicality to our back line,” Pressley said.
“We had to fend off interest from other clubs to get him here so to manage to do that is extremely pleasing and I’m looking forward to picking up where we left off with him before the New Year.”
With that suspension now over, Seaborne is expected to go straight back into the side for the games against Preston in League One on Saturday and Arsenal a week on Friday in the FA Cup Fourth Round.
