Coventry City will have to play their Easter fixtures without Adam Armstrong & James Maddison after they were called up for England duty.

Armstrong has been called up by former Sky Blues’ boss Aidy Boothroyd to the England Under 19’s squad for their Under-19s UEFA European Championship campaign.

Armstrong could feature in Spain against Georgia, Greece and the host nation.

Meanwhile, Maddison has been called up to the Under 20’s squad for their game against Canada’s Under 20’s at Doncaster’s Keepmoat Stadium.

Both will miss the games against Peterborough United on Good Friday, and Armstrong will also miss the game with Colchester United on Tuesday, March 29th but Maddison will be back with the squad.

On loan Southampton defender Jack Stephens could also miss the Good Friday fixture if he’s called up to the England Under 21 squad, as expected.
