Fifa 17 Coventry City player ratings released

fifa-17-coverThe newest edition of the highly anticipated FIFA series is released internationally next week, and with the EA Access trial version of the game out now, the Coventry City player ratings have been revealed.

There’s a new face with the highest rating for The Sky Blues, with Bulgarian midfielder Vladimir Gadzhev getting a rating of 71, replacing club captain Sam Ricketts at the top of the pile. Fellow midfielder Chris McCann comes in second with a rating of 70.

Ricketts has suffered a ratings drop of four from 72 in FIFA 16, to 68 in the latest edition.

Last year, City had the two highest rated players in League One, Sam Ricketts & Réda Johnson but this year Vladimir Gadzhev comes in in equal third place with Jorge Teixeira and Alou Diarra (both Charlton Athletic) coming in with ratings of 73, and James Henry (Bolton Wanderers) coming in with 72.

Summer departures Romain Vincelot (Bradford City) comes in with a rating of 69 (+2), John Fleck (Sheffield United) is rated 69 (+2) and Aaron Martin (Oxford United) has had a +3 upgrade to 66.

Former City striker, Callum Wilson, now with Bournemouth in The Premier League has been upgraded for the third season in a row, going from a 74 overall to 76, which this season makes him a gold rated player. Adam Armstrong & Ryan Kent, now both at Barnsley are rated 68 & 66 respectively whilst Jacob Murphy (Norwich) is 66 and James Maddison is rated 68 on loan at Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership.
