Coventry City have confirmed the reappointment of Mark Robins as manager after relieving Russell Slade of his duties yesterday afternoon.
Robins, 47, returns for a second spell as manager of The Sky Blues after initially leaving in February 2013 to take over at Championship side Huddersfield Town.
The Club have confirmed he has signed a contract “beyond the end of the season” but have not specified the exact length.
After leaving Huddersfield, Robins also had a spell at fellow League One side Scunthorpe United before retaking the Ricoh manager’s seat.
Speaking to the Club’s official website, Robins said; “I’m delighted to be given the opportunity to return to Coventry City FC and really excited by the challenge ahead.
“I know the club well and it has been especially difficult to watch the struggles of this season from afar.
“My aim is to provide a change of fortune for this football club in the long-term, and build a team not only for now, but for the future of Coventry City.”
