Kevin Malaga leaves Coventry City by mutual consent.

French central defender Kevin Malaga has today left Coventry City Football Club by mutual consent.

Malaga joined The Sky Blues in July 2012 on a free transfer from Nice, however he only went on to make 2 appearances for the club.

Malaga spent a month on loan at Nuneaton Town before returning to the club.

Malaga’s departure now frees up a potential signing for The Sky Blues under their ‘one-in-one-out’ rolling transfer embargo ahead of the 11pm transfer deadline tonight.
