Tim Fisher: No plans to move Jimmy Hill statue without consultation.

Jimmy Hill statue

Former Coventry City manager and Chairman, Jimmy Hill’s statue, currently located at The Ricoh Arena.

Coventry City Chief Executive Officier, Tim Fisher says any relocation plans for Jimmy Hill’s statue, the memorial garden or Hall of Fame bricks, would be consulted with fans.

“I want to be crystal clear that the club will not move the Jimmy Hill statue, the memorial garden or the bricks in the wall at the Ricoh Arena, without fully consulting supporters and the Hill family.”

“We are meeting fans over the coming fortnight and those are items that will be very high on the agenda because of their huge importance.”

“Ultimately, the supporters will decide what happens to their bricks, to their memorial garden and to their statue.”

Would you like the Jimmy Hill statue, memorial garden and bricks in the wall to remain at The Ricoh Arena? Head to our Facebook page by clicking here to vote in our poll.
