Former Coventry City left-back Chris Hussey has today signed a contract with League Two side Burton Albion.
Hussey, who was released from his contract with the Sky Blues in January spent the second half of the 2012/2013 season back at AFC Wimbledon, the club City signed him from.
Hussey commented: ‘As soon as I spoke to the manager and he outlined his ideas for the club I was keen to be a part of it and knew it was the correct decision to make.
‘The training facilities are excellent, the stadium is good and it is nice to feel wanted. I’m looking forward to the first game of the season and can’t wait to meet the squad and get started.’
Burton manager Gary Rowett added: ‘Chris is an excellent player and one I believe can kick on and add some real quality on the left-hand side.
‘He’s a good size, a good athlete and is equally comfortable going forward and defending so I think we’ve got a good player on our hands and one with real ability.’
In his time at the Ricoh Arena, Hussey made 65 appearances, scoring once.
