Former Coventry City loanee Chris Dagnall has this afternoon signed for fellow League One side Leyton Orient.
Dagnall spent December on loan at City from the Championship side, making four starts and two substitute appearances whilst with the club.
In that time, he managed one goal; scoring the equaliser in the 3-1 win away at MK Dons on his debut – the same game in which fellow loanee Chris Maguire came off the bench and scored two free kicks.
Following his release by Barnsley, Sky Blues’ manager Steven Pressley revealed he was interested in bringing the striker back to the club, but he has now lost out on his man to Russell Slade’s high-flying Leyton Orient.
Dagnall has signed an 18 month contract with The O’s.
