Former Coventry City striker Marlon King has today pleaded guilty to a charge of dangerous driving.
Appearing in Nottingham Crown Court, the former Premier League player had previously pleaded guilty but today changed his plea following a three car crash which left one victim with a fractured elbow.
King, who has played for Hull City, Wigan Athletic, Middlesbrough, Coventry City, Sheffield United and Birmingham City amongst other clubs faces up to two years in prison.
King has 14 previous convictions dating back to 1997 and famously joined the Sky Blues after his release from prison for sexual assault before leaving for Birmingham City.
King most recently played for fellow League One side Sheffield United before being released in December 2013.
