Coventry City have this afternoon bolstered their midfield ranks with the addition of Anton Robinson on loan from Championship side Huddersfield Town.
The 28-year-old was part of the Huddersfield side that won promotion from League One to The Championship in 2012 but spent the majority of last season on loan at League Two side Gillingham, helping The Gills to promotion too.
If Robinson makes his debut on Wednesday against Stevenage, it will be his first game since April 1st 2013 following nine months out with a knee injury.
Robinson has signed a loan deal which will see him remain with the Sky Blues up to, and including May 31st 2014 and he will wear squad number 27.
City boss Steven Pressley spoke to the club’s official website and said: “Anton is an extremely good character with an excellent work ethic that will bring a degree of experience to our young midfield.
“He has a wealth of experience in League One football and has been part of a promotion-winning setup in this league so he know what it takes to be successful and we look forward to him coming on board for the rest of the season.”
