Former Coventry City striker Callum Wilson has been called up to the England Under-21 side to face Portugal & France.

Wilson earns his call as West Brom’s Saido Berahino has been called into the senior squad for the first time.

Wilson joins Gareth Southgate’s side for the game against Portugal at Burnley’s Turf Moor on Thursday 13th November before they travel to Brittany to face France on Monday 17th November after continuing his impressive form for Bournemouth.

After joining Eddie Howe’s side from City in the summer, Wilson has bagged nine Championship goals so far this season, after an impressive 21 for City in League One last season.
