Released Coventry City defender Danny Pugh has today completed a move to League One new-boys Bury FC.
Signed on a free transfer last summer by Steven Pressley after his release from Leeds United, Pugh was only to make seven appearances for The Sky Blues, before his season was ended by injury in October.
After failing to recover from injury after Tony Mowbray replaced Pressley in March, Pugh was told he would not be given a new contract and was free to find himself a new club.
The former Manchester United, Preston, Stoke and Leeds player joins Bury on a 12-month contract and will be looking to help Bury avoid relegation back to League Two following their promotion last season.
