Former Coventry City Chairman Mike McGinnity has passed away, the Club have announced.
McGinnity, who was a director at West Bromwich Albion before his stint with The Sky Blues, was Chairman between 2002 and 2006 following the Club’s relegation from The Premier League, taking over from Bryan Richardson.
McGinnity oversaw the move from Highfield Road to The Ricoh Arena, before stepping down with Geoffrey Robinson taking over.
McGinnity’s passing comes just under a month after another former Chairman, Jimmy Hill, passed away.
