Kwame leaves on loan

Coventry City striker Kwame Thomas has joined Sutton United on an initial one-month loan deal.

Thomas, 21, is yet to make and appearance for The Sky Blues this season following injury, and it is believed that joining the Vanarama National side for a month will help build up his match fitness ahead of competing for a place in The Sky Blues’ first team.

Since joining on a free transfer from Derby County last summer, Thomas has been limited to just 14 appearances due to injury, scoring three goals.

Despite the transfer window closing for clubs last week in the Premier League and Football League, non-league clubs can still complete loan deals.
