Mark Robins nominated for September Manager of the Month

Coventry City manager Mark Robins has been nominated for the Sky Bet League Two Manager of the month award.

Robins, who returned for a second spell in charge of the Sky Blues in March, led his side to five wins from seven games in September, picking up an impressive 16 points, leading his side to fourth place in League Two.

Robins’ side also kept five clean sheets in these seven games, conceding only three goals.

The judging panel, comprising former Ipswich Town manager George Burley, Sky Sports’ EFL League expert Don Goodman; EFL Marketing Director Drew Barrand, League Managers’ Association Director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet EFL Trader Mikey Mumford, have selected the Sky Blues boss among the contenders for the award.

Robins is up for the award alongside Kevin Nolan (Notts County 1st in L2,) John Coleman (Accrington Stanley 3rd) and Paul Tisdale (Exeter City 2nd.)

The winner will be announced on Friday, October 6th.
