Coventry City have today confirmed four players will be released from the Club at the end of their contracts.
Dion & Devon Kelly-Evans (21) will be leaving the Club after coming through the Club’s academy. Devon would make 18 appearances, scoring once whilst Dion made 40 appearances for The Sky Blues.
Also leaving The Ricoh Arena will be wingers Kyel Reid & Bilal Sayoud. Reid returned to the Club in January after spending the first half of the League Two campaign on loan at Colchester United following a controversial summer last season where he stated there was a release clause following the Club’s relegation from League One, with nothing written in his contract according to Mark Robins.
Sayoud had only made one first team appearance, which came in The Checkatrade Trophy against Walsall in October.
However, Michael Doyle has triggered a one-year extension to his contract, now keeping him at the Club until June 2019 and Dominic Hyam is currently in negotiations to extend his contract.
All three loan players, Jonson Clarke-Harris, Jordan Maguire-Drew and Josh Barrett have returned to their parent clubs, however Clarke-Harris is expected to rejoin The Sky Blues on a free transfer when his Rotherham United contract expires.
