Coventry City will have two representatives in the England Under 19 Squad for the 2018 UEFA U19 European Championships after midfielder Tom Bayliss and defender Dujon Sterling were both named in Paul Simpson’s squad for the tournament.
This is the first time Bayliss has been named in an England squad following on from a hugely successful first senior year at The Sky Blues where he helped guide the side to promotion via the League Two Play-Offs.
Summer signing Sterling, however, has experience in the tournament as he was a part of the squad which won the tournament last year in Georgia.
After both players joined Simpson and the squad at St. George’s Park last week, they have now flown out to Finland for the tournament, with their first game against Turkey tomorrow afternoon in Group B.
The game will be shown live on Sky Sports Football at 4:25pm.
England’s full Group B fixtures;
Tuesday 17th July – Turkey (KO 16:30)
Friday 20th July – Ukraine (KO 16:30)
Monday 23rd July – France (KO 16:30)
