Coventry City have completed the signing of goalkeeper Lee Camp on a free transfer.
Camp, 36, has signed a two-month contract following the broken cheekbone sustained by Marko Marosi in the closing minutes of Wednesday’s victory over Cardiff City.
The experienced goalkeeper had been without a club following his release by Birmingham City at the end of the 2019/2020 Season, in which he played both FA Cup games against The Sky Blues, and was The Blues’ hero in the penalty shootout which knocked Coventry out following the replay.
Over the course of his career Camp has featured for Derby County, whom he was in goal for in the final ever game at Highfield Road in April 2005, Nottingham Forest, West Bromwich Albion, Norwich City, QPR, Sunderland and Birmingham City as well as winning 9 international caps for Northern Ireland.
