Cyrus Christie being watched by Tottenham Hotspur.

Coventry City right-back Cyrus Christie was watched for the second time by Premier League side Tottenham Hotpsur in the 2-0 loss to Brentford yesterday.

Spurs, managed by Andre Villas Boas, sent scout David Pleat to watch the defender who turned 21 years old today.

It wasn’t Christie’s greatest game however, being at fault for Clayton Donaldson’s goal when he missed the ball, and failing to offer any real threat going forward.

Before the transfer window shut, Christie was linked to former manager Mark Robins at Championship side Huddersfield Town as well as Premier League side Stoke City.

Stevenage manager Graham Westley was also in the stands, as City travel to Stevenage next weekend.
