Hartlepool United away in FA Cup Second Round.

FA Cup

Following the 1-3 away victory at League Two side AFC Wimbledon in the FA Cup First Round on Friday night, this afternoon’s draw sees The Sky Blues travel to another League Two side in the Second Round, as Victoria Park and Colin Cooper’s Hartlepool United await.

Callum Wilson, Carl Baker and a Callum Kennedy own-goal saw the Sky Blues progress into the hat, despite falling behind to a Michael Smith header.

Hartlepool overcame City’s fellow League One side Notts County in the First Round, winning 3-2 at Victoria Park.

The Pools were relegated from League One to League Two last season, with City winning 5-0 on their last visit to Victoria Park; a result which was part of six successive away victories under the guidance of Mark Robins.
