This Sunday, November 17th is the last chance to vote for @SkyBluesBlog in The Football Blogging Awards.
Following on from Steven Pressley being named the October League One Manager of the Month, City are now in the running for yet another award. What a season’s it’s turning out to be so far.
Sky Blues Blog is a nominee in The Best Football Club Blog category at the Football Blogging awards and is up against Anything Palmeiras, Five Year Plan, LFC Fans Corner, The Width of a Post & This Is Anfield.
Started by Neil Allison (@NeilAllison) after the somewhat disappointing 2009/2010 season, “as a place to let off steam and vent my thoughts about Coventry City’s progress”, the blog has continued to grow, and is now a must read for all Coventry City fans with internet access. And for those without, I’m sure printouts can be arranged.
Full of humour (“lt’s also quite interesting to look back at how many times during the season I threaten to stop supporting them and form my own breakaway club; FC Coventry City Mönchengladbach Saint-Germain”) praise and the occassional swear-word, Allison and the rest of the contributors bring light relief to many long-suffering City supporters.
Featuring the famous ‘Pre Game Ramble’ and guest blogs from fellow Sky Blue Army members, as well as being the home to the Nii Lamptey Podcast, Sky Blues Blog needs your support to walk away with the (well deserved) prize in Manchester on November 21st.
Just as it was as the players walked out at Highfield Road before the move to The Ricoh Arena, and now Sixfields, it’s the Final Countdown. Click the link below to head over to Sky Blues Blog and place your vote in one of three ways, or all three if you’re feeling generous.
