Wigan Atheltic manager Uwe Rosler has today confirmed that a number of clubs have made enquiries about the availability of winger Nouha Dicko, but he is unsure where his immediate future lies.
Coventry City are one of a number of clubs which have been linked with the winger’s signature and have tried to previously tried to sign the player on loan, only to see him join Rotherham United and score the opener against City at Sixfields in the 0-3 loss in November.
Dicko, who only has six months left on his contract and could sign a pre-contract agreement with a new club, was recalled by Rosler when he swapped Brentford for Wigan but he has only gone on to make one appearance – as a substitute in the 3-3 FA Cup draw with MK Dons.
“We have had enquiries about Nouha, but I’m not in any rush to make a decision because I want to see him more in training and in games to be able to make up my mind,” Rosler told Wigan’s official website.
“When you score goals like he did in League One for Rotherham and in the Championship with Blackpool, he becomes hot property and there is no shortage of takers.”
Along with City, Rotherham United are reportedly in the running to take Dicko back to the New York Stadium.
