Coventry City manager Steven Pressley is reportedly looking to bring in Aston Villa striker Nathan Delfouneso to solve the Sky Blues’ striker shortage ahead of deadline day on Friday.
Pressley has made it clear he is working around the clock to bring in two strikers before Friday’s deadline, and Delfouneso is reportedly one of a number of targets.
Delfouneso has already had a spell on loan away from Villa park this season, making 11 appearances in what was his second loan spell at Bloomfield Road after spending the 2012/2013 Season at the club too.
For Aston Villa, Delfouneso has made 50 appearances since graduating from their academy in 2008/2009, scoring 9 goals, but the Birmingham club are reportedly willing to loan the England youth international out once again.
Delfouneso has represented England at every level from Under 16 to Under 21, making over 50 appearances but has not made a senior appearance for The Three Lions.
