General news, Transfer Centre

Leon Lobjoit leaves Coventry City.

Coventry City Football Club have this afternoon confirmed the departure of Leon Lobjoit after cancelling his contract by mutual consent.

The departure comes in a transfer window dominated by the imminent departure of another Leon from the Sky Blues, after Leon Clarke handed in a transfer request earlier this month.

Lobjoit joined the Sky Blues from fellow League One side MK Dons when Makr Robins was in charge, and despite being involved in a number of match-day squads, Lobjoit failed to make a senior appearance in a Sky Blue shirt.

Lobjoit only signed his first professional contract with the club in June 2013 but has now departed the club after speculation at the start of the year that this would happen.
