Coventry City defender Cyrus Christie has finally been awarded with the second goal in the 3-1 away victory at Rotherham United on New Year’s Day.
The goal was originally credited by some outlets to midfielder Franck Moussa, despite being nowhere near the ball, and as an own-goal by others, however Christie was adamant it was his.
The club’s historian, Jim Brown chased up the matter and it has today been officially credited to the right-back.
The goal is Christie’s only so far this season and his fourth for City overall.
