Out of contract right back, Cyrus Christie is a target for several Major League Soccer teams according to Sky Sports.
Christie, 21, has already made over 100 appearances for The Sky Blues after making his debut in August 2010 in a League Cup tie against Morecambe.
Christie has rejected a new contract with The Sky Blues and is likely to leave but as he is under 23, City would be entitled to substantial compensation should he join another English side.
Should he opt to move abroad though, the compensation City would receive for his services would be significantly lowered.
Sky Sports are reporting that Toronto FC, where Jermaine Defoe plays, New York Red Bulls with Tim Cahill and Thierry Henry ply their trade and DC United with Eddie Johnson are all interested in Christie’s services.
Several Premier League and Championship sides are also looking at securing Christie’s signature, with Huddersfield Town mooted as a potential move to join former City manager Mark Robins who is also looking to tie up a deal for out of contract ‘keeper Joe Murphy.
