Coventry City have completed the Deadline Day transfer of West Ham United winger Blair Turgott.
Turgott joins The Sky Blues on a permanent deal until the end of the current season, after his West Ham contract was mutully terminated.
Turgott has enjoyed loan spells at Bradford, Colchester United and Rotherham United, as well as League Two side Dagenham and Redbridge.
The England Under-19 international has scored ten goals for his country across the Under-16s, Under-17s and Under-19s levels.
Speaking to the club’s official website, City manager Steven Pressley said: “I’m delighted to complete the signing of Blair as we’ve been looking to add to our attacking options throughout the window.
“Blair is a player who has demonstrated a great deal of potential during his career and we believe we can help him realise that potential during his time at the club.
“He gives us a real threat on the wings for the rest of the season and I hope he can use his time at the club to earn a long-term deal.”
Turgott becomes the latest January recruit for City following the arrivals of Frank Nouble, Aaron Martin, Jamie Jones, Domic Samuel and Sanmi Odelusi with Pressley confirming he still hopes to add one or two more players before tonight’s 11pm transfer deadline.
