Former Coventry City manager Chris Coleman has led Wales to the last-16 knockout stages of Euro 2016, in their first major tournament for 50 years.
By defeating Russia 3-0 this evening, combined with England failing to defeat Slovakia in their final Group B game, Coleman’s Wales pipped Roy Hodgson’s side to the top of the group.
Wales will start their knockout stage at 5pm on Saturday June 25 in Paris against the third-place side from Group A, Group C or Group D.
With England finishing second in Group B they will face the team that finishes second in Group F – either Portugal, Austria, Hungary or Iceland in Nice on Monday June 27.
Final Group B standings;
- Wales (6)
- England (5)
- Slovakia (4)
- Russia (1)
