Coventry City manager, Andy Thorn was full of praise for striker Roy O’Donovan following two goals yesterday against Nuneaton Town.
O’Donovan, who arrived on a free transfer from Premier League side Sunderland last summer, has only made 4 appearances for the Sky Blues since returning to the club.
Former City manager, Aidy Boothroyd was reportedly looking to sell the 24 year old striker during the January transfer window, after struggling to get into the side.
However Thorn, speaking to Sky Blues Player said: “I thought Roy did terrific, his runs, his touch and his link up play were very good and he took his goals exceptionally well.
“To be honest we may have gotten more out of today than we originally thought we would.”
