Former Coventry City midfielder Jay Tabb has been released by Championship side Reading, after the club confirmed they would not be renewing his contract.
Tabb made 12 appearances for The Royals in the Premier League in 2012/2013, before spending the second half of the season on loan at Ipswich Town, making a further 9 appearances.
Reading signed the midfielder from Coventry in January 2009 for an undisclosed fee, where he went on to make 105 appearances, without scoring at The Madjeski Stadium.
Tabb arrived at the Ricoh Arena on a free transfer after the expiration of his contract at Brentford in June 2006, pulling on the Sky Blue shirt on 104 occassions, scoring 12 goals.
