Coventry City captain Carl Baker has used social networking to thank Coventry City supporters for their support in ‘this tough time.’
Earlier this afternoon, the Football League confirmed that they had “reluctantly agreed’ to plans by the club to groundshare with Northampton Town for the next three seasons until a new stadium is built in the Coventry area.
Both Baker and Sky Blues’ manager Steven Pressley had both previously stated their desire for the Sky Blues to remain at The Ricoh Arena, something now definitely not happening.
Baker has been linked with a move to Championship side Nottingham Forest during the summer, and with the club still in administration it could be that Baker will be playing at the City Ground, rather than Sixfields in 2013/2014.
