Former Coventry City striker Danny Philliskirk has signed a two-year deal with fellow League One side Oldham Athletic.
Philliskirk was released by manager Steven Pressley at the end of last season, after being bought to the club by previous manager Mark Robins following his release by Sheffield United.
In total, Philliskirk only made one appearance for The Sky Blues, starting the 1-0 home league defeat to Leyton Orient in April this year.
Philliskirk, who was born in Oldham, started his youth career at the club, before joing Chelsea’s youth side in 2007 before finding himself at Oxford United, Sheffield United and Coventry City.
